In accordance with the mission of the Western Australia Government, COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for work in the disability services sector. This decision will help protect our community against the COVID-19 virus. To join the Amazing Community Care team, you must show documentation confirming your COVID-19 vaccines are complete.

Providing Safe Assistance

At Amazing Community Care for NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants during the COVID-19 pandemic involves taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of those with disabilities. This can include:

  • Regularly monitoring participants for symptoms of COVID-19 and providing appropriate support if necessary
  • Encouraging and assisting with social distancing and hand hygiene practices
  • Providing virtual support and communication options, such as video calls and online resources, to reduce face-to-face contact
  • Ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and used appropriately
  • Adapting support plans to meet changing needs and circumstances related to the pandemic
  • Collaborating with other community organizations and services to provide comprehensive support

Certain personnel (including contractors, volunteers, and students on placement) are required to be vaccinated; for more information, please see the Coronavirus website or consult the Chief Health Officer’s Directions.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination can be received without charge from

  • MyGov COVID-19 digital certificate
  • Immunisation history statement provided by Medicare
